Create and manage business email mailboxes
Create domain email addresses, choose passwords, allocate storage, retry setup, and remove mailboxes safely.
Quick answer
After an email hosting service has an active domain, the Email dashboard lets you create mailboxes with your own password, set storage allocation, view setup status, clear storage, reset access, and delete mailboxes.
How to do it
- 1
Select the email domain
Open Business Email and choose the domain assigned to your email hosting service.
- 2
Create a mailbox
Enter the mailbox name, choose a password of at least eight characters, select its storage size, and submit the form.
- 3
Manage storage and access
Use Storage to change the mailbox quota, Reset password to create a new password, or View password when available.
- 4
Handle a failed setup
If setup fails after the mail server creates the account, enter a new password and choose Retry setup. The dashboard keeps the error visible.
- 5
Clear or delete a mailbox
Clear storage when you need to remove messages while keeping the address. Delete only when the mailbox and its access should be removed.

Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I create a mailbox?
The domain may still be pending, or the hosting plan may have no unallocated storage. Wait for domain activation or reduce another mailbox allocation.
What password should a mailbox use?
Use at least eight characters and keep the password private. Sign in to webmail with the full email address as the username.
What are the mail server settings?
Use IMAP mail.your-domain on port 993 with SSL and SMTP mail.your-domain on port 465 with SSL, or port 587 with STARTTLS.
What if the mailbox was created on the server but setup failed?
The dashboard keeps the red setup error visible. Choose a new password of at least eight characters and select Retry setup; do not create a duplicate mailbox with the same address.
What happens if storage is full?
The mailbox cannot be allocated more space than the hosting service has available. Reduce another mailbox quota, clear messages, or add hosting storage, then retry the allocation.
