Give a team member access to hosting or email
Understand service-level roles and give the right person access to web hosting, email, DNS, or billing.
Quick answer
Team access is granted per service. Administrator gives the invited customer every available permission for that specific service, while Owner remains the account holder who can manage the team.
How to do it
- 1
Open Team access
In your dashboard, open Team access. Each card represents one service you own.
- 2
Choose the exact service
Add the member separately under the Web Hosting service and under the Business Email service if they need both. Adding them only under a domain service gives domain and DNS access for that service.
- 3
Choose Administrator
Administrator gives all available permissions for the selected service, including hosting or mailbox management and billing visibility where that service supports it.
- 4
Use Technical for operations only
Technical can manage domains, DNS, hosting, and email, but cannot view billing or renewal information.

Frequently asked questions
Does Administrator apply to my whole account?
No. Roles are scoped to one service. Add the same person separately to each web hosting, email, domain, or other service they should access.
Which role is closest to Owner?
Administrator is the highest delegated role. Owner remains the only role that can manage team members and the service ownership itself.
Why can a member see DNS but not email or hosting?
They were likely added only to a domain service. Add them as Administrator on the separate Web Hosting and Business Email services.
Can Technical view renewals?
No. Technical is for operational management. Use Administrator or Billing when the member needs billing and renewal visibility.
A team member can see DNS but not hosting. What is wrong?
Team permissions are service-scoped. Add the member as Administrator or Technical on the Web Hosting service itself; access granted only on a domain service does not include the hosting account.
