Use hosting, the file manager, and your preview URL
Assign a domain, open hosting tools, upload files, and test a website before the domain is live.
Quick answer
After a hosting plan is paid and a domain is assigned, the dashboard shows hosting access, a file manager action, and a preview URL when available. A pending domain can be used for setup and preview; public traffic waits for activation.
How to do it
- 1
Assign a purchased or connected domain
Open Web & Hosting, choose Select a domain, and select the domain you want this hosting plan to use. Pending domains are accepted for setup.
- 2
Open File Manager
Expand the hosting service and use File Manager to upload website files into the assigned site directory.
- 3
Use the preview URL
Open Preview website to test the site while the domain registration or DNS connection is still processing.
- 4
Wait for domain activation
The domain worker checks registration and DNS status. The public domain and certificates are completed after the domain is active.

Frequently asked questions
Can I start building with a pending domain?
Yes. Hosting setup and the preview URL can be available while registration is pending. Email delivery and public domain traffic wait for activation.
What happens if hosting expires?
Pavwell marks the service overdue, suspends website traffic with a branded suspension page, and keeps the original files ready for restoration after renewal.
Can I restore a suspended site?
Renew the specific hosting service from Billing. After payment confirmation, the suspension guard is removed and the hosting worker restores access.
Does selecting a domain create hosting immediately?
Selecting only records your intended domain. A paid web-hosting plan and a configured hosting package are still required before CyberPanel can create the website account.
